I purchased software to turn CDs I burned into MP3s and then copy them to my Yepp MP3 player. Last night it said my trial had ended. Typically when I get this error I just run a function that resubmits my purchase # and another # and I'm good to go. Last night I wasn't. Then I try to get info on the company to ask them WTF is going on, and they're out of business! I spent another hour downloading a newer version of MusicMatch Jukebox where I was able to convert CD tracks to MP3 (but not able to compress them) but I couldn't get them onto my MP3 despite reading the stupid f--king directions 6 times. I was up until 130am and now I'm crankier and more tired than evah.

ARGH! Anyone else know of some free software that will 1) let me compress tunes so they're 1 or 2MB instead of 5 and 2) gets them onto my MP3 player???

Which software did you have, and what is your mp3 player?

I use CDex for converting my mp3s to .wavs. It goes the other way too. I think it can be downloaded from cnet.

I might, rabbit, I might. Despite your belief that I listen to only crap, a large percentage of my music, for running or otherwise, is classic rock. Just not sucky classic rock like S&G. Razz
