My old gym. I canceled my membership in October, I changed it to 'non-renew' which apparently is the "do call" list  I have gotten dozens of calls from these people soliciting me to come back. I live no where near this gym now and the obnoxious phone calls aren't doing much for impressions for me. All of the calls I end with "My account is cancelled, please remove my name from your lists, do not call me again" Now they are calling me at work. This is the 4th day in a row. All of them say "I am marking your account, sorry ma'am". WTF? Then stop calling
What am I not saying here???

Call the old gym and tell them you need to change your phone number in their records. I find the fax machine phone number is good one to give out

I think the problem is its a big chain, and the people calling me are probably in Omaha, or Chattanooga or Sheboygan or somewhere. So one of them can 'make a note' but its not getting communicated. Now, why their policy is to call and call and call ANYWAY is a 'whole nuther' matter.

I cancelled last year and for 4 months after I kept getting bills for payment. I call up and say that I cancelled and I'm told that yes they do show that my account was cancelled in april (of whatever year) and I do not owe any money. Just ignore these bills because nothing is due. But, I am on their mailing list for 5 years! I get crabby, speak to two managers including a regional manager in a different state and finally get taken off their 5 year mailing list where I'm supposed to ignore the bills asking for payment and saying that I'm 3 months late. Right.

The only chains in Sheboygan are on the snow tires.
