for the baby.
My wife isn't due for another week (the 12th), however there have been some developments over the past weekend that led us to believe he would be out by now. I would really like to see him come today or tomorrow.
I've only got about a million things going on in the next week, starting this Saturday and ending next Sat.
Maybe I should read him my schedule for the next week, and that will coerce him into coming out?
Don't get me wrong, I'll put anything off for it, but I just thought he'd be here! It's hard waiting so long.

very aware...this is #3
We thought it could possibly come on Monday. It is now Thursday, and still not here yet. If not, Dr. appt tomorrow. We'll see what the doc says.

Plenty of time.. you've got until the 31st to get that extra tax exemption and the child tax credit (who said having kids doesn't pay?).

Make Mrs. Coach laugh really hard! I've heard this is a good labor inducing tactic.

I know a labor-inducing strategy that did work for us but I'd be embarrassed to say it here in public

We had been doing that.
Sunday night though, my wife lost her mucous plug. Didn't really know if it was safe to proceed with that method of induction without it.

well, perhaps not the deed......maybe just a little, uh, fun......you know, just enough to get the hormones in gear
oh and btw, that reminds me of a joke: baby is born and immediately asks the Dr. "are you my dad?" doc says no, but directs him to the father. "are you my dad?" "yes, son, I am" the baby then proceeds to poke dad in the head, repeatedly: "How do you like that?"

Listen Coach, it's the same place you want to be, right? So he's in no rush to get out.
Good luck to you and your wife. I wish you an easy labor. I remember both Goettes looking absolutely stunned as they came out.
