The cake is almost gone. I made it late Sunday and went to bed before I could have any. By the time I got home yesterday, HALF of it was eaten and only my wife, aldest daughter and son had been home that day. OINK! OINK! |
I can top that.....I used to make pistachio torte (hubster's favorite) and the next morning the empty 9x13 is in the fridge! I stopped making the torte at his request. So last year, I make heath bar ice cream pie.....you have to chill overnight....next morning gone......so, I make another one and put it in the fridge in the garage.....next day.....gone. I ask the husband...."where's my pie"......."oh yeah, thanks.....the nurses said it was real good"
does anyone think there were nurses involved?

I've been in the dog house for quite some time now. mrs. keltic isn't talking to me much, but when she needs something she's all sweet with me.
particularly bugs me when it is something she should do either as her responsibility or because she needs to know how to do it if I weren't around. Last night I renewed her nursing license online. this falls under "learn how to do it in case I'm not around" but also "her responsibility." Guess it's kinda like her Avon job btw, can I interest you in some SkinSoSoft as an insect repellant for the summer?

So what do you think would happen if you were just "too busy" to do whatever it is she's sucking up to you to do??

Probably more than one. |
Heyyyyy now, I have two gravy boats AND a butter dish.....
I agree though, I'd keep the good stuff separate from the everyday dishes and only bring it out when company comes. I have everyday stuff and then nicer dishes for company but not china and silver, to me that is just too darn much work. I'd only use it for holidays anyway.....
