Speed Skating: 1-2 USA. Shanni Miller and Joey Cheek. Chad Hedrick came in 6th(?). Shanni dropped out of the US team event so he would be better prepared for his individual event. THe US had to forfeit that event because Miller dropped out. Hedrick was pissed and continued to be after he won the individual gold. Wasn't even happy for his teammate.
Short Track: THe Korean nemesis won 1st, Korean 2nd and Apollo got 3rd. He admitted he was beaten by a faster skater.

well almost, we did not forfiet the Team Pursuit, we just did not do well. What Chad is mostly ticked off about I'd say is that Shani didin't bother to tell anyone that he was not going to do the Pursuit until clost to the games. so the US #1 team was not on the ice on that heat. we got eliminated on the first round.
now Shani has been training for this even all year, he's been on top of the world in this event and he rally wanted to bring home his gold, for him and his mother. i can see why both are mad maybe they can turn that rage into fuel for he upcoming races.
i have to go with Cahd though, he's an inliner.
