so I hook the boat up to my Dakota last night to take it for a test tow around the block since I've not towed anything with this truck yet. Every thing works great and I pull back into the driveway. I then get out of truck and tell my 15 yr old to back the boat into the garage - about 125' away. He looks at me like I'm nuts and I tell him he's got to learn some time. He then proceeds to back that sob down the driveway and into the garage like he's been driving semi for 20 years.
And he used the mirrors, not the cheater over the shoulder look method. I was impressed.

I am convinced that some people get that "turn this way to go that way" concept like..from birth. I am not one of those people.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I suck at backing up any vehicle bigger than my Corolla.

I'm a good driver. For some reason running over the old lady on the corner in my on-the-road exam gave me some sort of rep.

Unlike his brother, he's a natural at anything with an engine and tires.

I'm sure that doesn't come as a surprise to many though.

I havent hooked up anythign to my truck yet. If I ever put a ball on the bumper and give it a try it could get ugly. I did drive my FIL's van with a boat attached up through the NY Thruway but I didn't have to back up and the place we stopped at had plenty of room for me to manuever.
