on her show, $40 a day, i really hate her. she is so freaking obnoxious.

I generally like her cooking show. Although she is just a goober sometimes.
I've caught some of her new daytime talk show a bit this week, and what I've seen has been pretty lame. When I was going to sit down and watch this morning and it was a segment about her cooking for a polar bear, I turned it off. Um, why would that be fun to watch? Stupid!

I just would rather not hear her "nails on a chalkboard" voice or view her 30 y/o body stuffed into shirts made for 12 y/o girls.

 I always wonder the deal with her shirts, too, and if NO ONE (let alone her) that is on her staff notices they don't even begin to fit her.

Feel sorry for us in Upstate NY.
She's from the area so she does radio and TV spots for a local supermarket chain. She also does radio spots for a local clothing store.
Add this to:
$ 40.00 a day
30 min Meals
Some cooking with the stars show (was it cancelled ?)
Talk show
Magazine
Forget Martha !! This woman is part of the NWO.

Especially when compared with Giada DeLaurentis--she ALWAYS looks well dressed and is wearing clothes that flatter her style. Even Semi-Sober with Sandra Lee usually looks good. Is that where they decided to skimp on the budget?
Ok, Rache, go to the Sears pre-teen section and pick out any top you want in every color you can find.

They should rename the food network: "All Day With Rachel Ray and the rest of the day with Bobby Flay".

I'm more Martha's speed. She's slow and it seems that even when a guest races over something that he/she believes is a given, Martha is quick to jump in and get a better description ie "just pop it in the oven for 15 minutes" Martha "should that oven be preheated? or pop it in and turn it on". I think Martha knows most of us are stupid and need to be "led by the hand"

I have nothing against her. I can fix a meal that she explains before I could ever do something like some of the other cooks out there.
I'm partial to Tyler Florance myself.
