my current pair has lasted me two years.

well old navy now has boy cut girl jeans... i'm not sure what that's gonna do.  their pants suck in general.
i get the feeling my next pair is gonna be well over the $100 mark... i know it's going to come from one of those little fashion boutiques.

well they'll last longer then 2 years... they'll just go into a different rotation... i wear the same jeans pretty much every day... and i don't like the $50 jeans... so whats the point in buying ones i don't like?
i'd make my own if i could...
at least its a thought out process on my part. buying jeans is no small task.
ps. this "man" card thing seems to be lacking.

absolutely - levi straus has been making jeans for like a gazzilian years....there's probably a reason for that...

Help me understand bloo. I can never understand it when people pay rediculous prices for jeans (or other clothes, but jeans are a common offender). 100 CA = 70 US right? That's insane. Is it because of the status that comes with these jeans? Or can you truly not find any inexpensive comfortable jeans?

in all honesty - i CANNOT find a pair of jeans that i like that cost a reasonable amount... if my pants don't look and fit right - it's a complete waste of my time. and they gotta be comfy. if someone has a $30 pair that i like - siiiiign me up.
i don't buy jeans for my personal amusement or status.  (none of my friends care what brand someone is wearing...unless simply like the style of it)
i have lucked out on a few clearance pair - $19 pair at the gap. amaaazing cut and comfort.
