Ahem. This doesn't sound that easy:
There aren't any hills on the course you couldn't run up - BUT there aren't many hills you should run up. Are you planning to run or race the course. My observations are from someone who run's the course.
I look at Ice Age having three parts.
1. Nordic loop - nice wide trail good footing. There are some relentless hills in the 'kettles'
2. South to Rice lake - narrower trails - the section from Hwy 14 (or is it 12?) to the south turnaround has some really brutal hills. Lots of rocks and roots.
3. North past horse camp - single track here too. The bigest climb on the course is here (Bald Bluff) not too bad except I'm usually a bit tired by the time I get here!

It really is a great race. And next Year is teh 25th running!

They do have 1-loop options. If I do it, I'll do the 1-loop. I am no where near ready for a 50K right now.
