bought a book today... i could've saved $15 if i ordered it from their website. but i went to the store because i had to make an exchange.
i say "it's cheaper on your website isn't it?" and the girl says "yeah but those aren't our prices" .... "but it's the same store? why wouldn't it be?" "i'm not really sure, but it's more here".
tell me - why the HELL would i go to the store for the priviledge of paying more? unless i got a $15 plastic bag its a bit of a joke.
box stores are frigging ridiculous.

You know what's funny? Aire Jr was listening to some talk show. (that's not the funny part) It was a story about a guy who wrote a book talking about the evils of online buying--it was causing us to become hermits and anti-social.
They then offered his book for sale--it was only available ONLINE. wth?
I still like some box stores. They're fun place to people watch.

See...your not pushy enough... I woulda asked for the store manager and made him explain it. Then I woulda loudly demanded the on line price. Managers usualy cave when you get loud and other customers start looking...

Websites don't have the costs associated with a physical store. No building lease, no need to have employees roaming the floor to help customers. At least that's what we always told people when they complained about that.
