Posted: 06/27/03 - 10:25 Post subject: so what have you learned this week?
It's been a strange week, and I've been highly reflective. What I've learned:
- it is possible for me to sit still, relax, and take care of myself for more than five minutes
- wimmins are much more critical of each other than mins are of them
- Cappy cannot bear to read a race report more than a paragraph long
- I can relinquish control to others and the world won't end
- if it's 102 degrees outside, the Altoid tin in your car is at least double that and will burn off your fingerprints when touched
- the depth and strength of my relationships is limitless
- Everlasting Gobstoppers will indeed cure all that ails you
What about you?

-Eating out for lunch 2 weeks in a row makes one feel 'sluggish'.
-I also learned that if properly planned, one can run everyday without injury (thus far )
-Oh, and although the Bucks may have addressed their point guard issue they're still gonna get slapped around in the paint...

Yep, that's a riff-raff rule... begin a race report with a clif note section for Grego.. time, distance, place, awards, and extent of any property damage.

What goes around truly does come around sometimes, with most interesting results.
You really can do anything that you want. It's just a matter of changing priorities.
The meaning of a golf handicap when it comes to scoring.
That being able to romp around a park like a hippie all weekend will make me forget anything bad that has happened.
Re-remembered; not really learned....some days when nothing else is working and people are taking advantage of you and pissing you off, yelling and turning into the biotch from hell will truly scare some people. It's a very empowering feeling.

-I learned I could eat an entire bag of Twizzlers Nibs in one sitting, all I had to do was put my mind to it.
-My family is almost as annoying as the hubby's family.
- You are not a big baby if you call into work because of a headache.
- It will take me 17 years of working in this dump to equal what Mike Piazza makes every two weeks.
- I also learned of a secret plot to bound and gag Joel, toss him in a cart and wheel his arse up and down every aisle in his local Wal-Mart.

I learned that 102 heat index is really as hot as it sounds, and may even dehydrate you.
I learned a few things about friendships this week, and standing by your friends despite their doing the dumb things you warned them against.
I learned I really have no clue how to do anything on my own computer by myself
I also learned that when put in the water dish, a catnip filled toy does in fact act like a tea bag, turning said water a lovely brownish tinge...
