The Chilly Hilly Challenge on December 28
2004

Mad City '04 - the full 26. Need to find a 1/2 thon in late March or early April.
Tentative to that point: 10 miler in Stevens Point next month. 8K in Lake Geneva in January. Cluster of races of different lengths in April (northern Illinois and Wisconsin). In addition to the 1/2, it would also help to get some races in February and March, too.

I'm training for Ocean Drive Marathon on 3/28. Between now and then I'll be racing The B@stard (just the name alone says I have to), the Vegas half on 1/25, and a few NY ones if NYRRC ever decides to post their '04 schedule.

rtpd has done ODM twice, he should be able to fill you in on all the details of that.

well, there's the Turkey Trot this week.
then, there's the Jingle Bell Run two weeks later..
hopefully, a half in Pittsburgh in the end of March.
it would be nice if some other Pittsburghers would join me in this half...and it would really be cool if a certain BUCKEYE would come over for it too....

During my taper, I have the Turkey Trot (10k) on Thursday, the Jingle Bell Run 5k on Sat. and then next weekend, the Arlington Winter Run. I'm just going to do the 2 miler (must resist 10k) I won't be racing any of these, but using them as training runs and opportunities to collect long sleeve t-shirts.
Of course, I have this little race Dec. 14th, it's just 26.2 miles. After that maybe the Vegas Half with a few wild women from here, and the Hilton Head Half in Feb. March brings me and Genie competeing for the slowest Riff Raffers award at the Texas Marathon.
Lots of t-shirt possibilities...

The "First Half" Half Marathon on Feb. 8th 2004. Website: http://www.pacificroadrunners.ca/firsthalf/
A small 5k sometime in early March
Vancouver Sun Run (10k) on April 18th
That's what I planned so far for next year...

Since I am retired from running. I will only be doing the pre/post race get togethers.
For now its just my daily rides each day that I look forward too.

Good possibility of a spring half - maybe Pittsburgh....
The usual array of spring time 5k's and a 4 miler if it doesn't interfere with Pittsburgh.

I've been vacillating between wanting to do a full marathon or continue to work on speed. I feel like I made a lot of progress in a short amount of time working on speed and probably should continue down that route. I miss the longer runs, though, so after talking to some friends and thinking about it I think I'll train up to the half and come Spring really emphasize speedwork and 10K's. Right now, I just want to be injury free.

I'll be running the half at Madison again! Will be cheering you on the whole way, G-Dog!

I've got the Run for Peace 10k coming up on Jan 10.
Then I'm planning on doing the Raleigh Half Marathon in late March.
My sister and I are gunning for the RnR Half in Va. Beach in Sept 2004.
I may sprinkle in a 5k or 10k somewhere over the summer.
(Edited 'cause of brain fart.)

Either Tybee Beach marathon or a 50k race in mid-January. Then it is looking like little or no running for the month of February.

Nuttin for sure except the Okoboji 1/2 in July...
there's not much for racin round here until it hits about May.
There is a half marathon in May though, and I won't be coaching track...so it's a possibility...
