.....they wanted a Boston story from me. "sorry, can't help you".
My husband just remarked a few days ago. I guess we're going to get baraged with Boston Marathon running articles. .
Worse, she seemed surprised that I wasn't going. It really bugs me that just because you can, people think you should.
I'm just a little uptight, because I was going to get it over with this year....but when I got sick in Dec.....I didn't think I'd be able to run a marathon this spring. I think once I do Boston, the pressure will be over with and I will be risened to the category of a "real marathoner, my gosh, she's qualified for Boston".

Trust me Sue, we all know you're for real as far as a being a marathoner or any other kind of ruuner.

I read this before heading out for my run today and I'm sure I was running around with on my face. Thanks MW, sometimes I need to look at the big picture, being me should be good enough for anyone.

Even though I see where you're coming from, I'm kinda stunned to read about a newspaper that actually gives a hoot about Boston. I think the local rags in these parts wouldn't even notice unless a local won Boston.

I think it's ultra-cool that the local paper even knows that you're good enough to qualify for Boston. The only local sports heros I can think of here are pros.
