He didn't type scout, he typed scott; as in someone from Scotland where they wear kilts and don't feel silly about it.

Friday I left work early to fly to hometown in Kentucky for a friend's wedding on Saturday. I got a little speedwork in at Hartsfield airport (shout out to PH in Atlanta) where my flight landed at 8:20 and I had to make an 8:05 connection (no, that doesn't add up...fortunately they delayed the 8:05 to 8:30 and I hauled arse over 2 concourses and made it at 8:28!!!)
Spent Friday night through Sunday afternoon seeing all my old friends, watching one get married, visiting old haunts, running into everyone in my life prior to 3 years ago and having major nostalgia, but it was wonderful.
On the way home I made up for my Friday sprint by spending 3 hours in Hartsfield (you can't get to heaven or hell w/o going through atlanta...ba dum bum ching) but I made it home safe 11 last night. GREAT great weekend. Now I'm sad to be back!!!

very nice weekend.
Saturday went to a football party all day.
Sunday went to a baby shower and got lots of great gifts!!!! It was with a bunch of my mom's friends and they were all very generous! We got our carseat/stroller, high chair, bouncy seat, and lots of other goodies. The nursery was empty looking before and now has stuff everywhere!!! I'm a litle worried about my sweet dog though, he was up sniffing around all the bags and before we knew it had a stuffed animal on the run! We're going to have to watch him!
Pretty tired by last night, my energy level is plummeting, but all in all a great weekend!

So this is what a weekend feels like? Only one engagement this weekend and it was easily the highlight for me...Saturday morning 5K pr rocked my silly little face off!
After the race we checked out the Octoberfest activities (beer, crafts, and beer).
You know what? That's about it! Just relaxed. Watched the Packer's practice squad tear apart the Pats...we bought a pumpkin yesterday and baked seeds (double-mmmmmm).
Got a huge sales meeting today! Wish me luck!

Entering wk 18 of the home addition project... hopefully the last week too. Carpeted two rooms this weekend. I've got four wore off blisters on my right hand from the Cutco scissors I used to cut the rugs. One more room to carpet and that's it. An electrician is in today getting the outlets and lighting installed. Tonight we'll start moving into the rooms that are done. 50% more space ..I'm giddy.
