nothing big on friday night.
a funeral sat. am (I played, the family was extremely grateful)
Band Festival Sat. night, and our band won First place in their division and third place overall
sunday, church, then dinner at my parents with a get together for my daughter's 15th birthday, cake and presents!
edited to add that I made a batch of salsa and canned it tonight
what did you do?

Saturday I spent working the massage tent at a half marathon which was hard work, but lots of fun.
Saturday night we went to an Oktoberfest night at a friends place, which was great but would have been more fun if I could have tried all the beers and still been able to run the next day.
Sunday I did a 10k fun run which was indeed fun, and then spent the afternoon doing the few household chores the hub hadn't aleady done, and studying for an anatomy and physiology exam I sit next month.
All in all, a really nice weekend  .

Getting slowly back into my normal weekend routine. Denny's and Grocery Shopping, then I took them out for a pizza dinner, Saturday. Kim spent most of yesterday with my sister, so Mike and I spent the afternoon playing with his truck and cars.
Prolly did a little too much this weekend I am a bit sore. Fall down the steps did not help either.

sat came home from friday night work with a fever of 102.5
slept all day woke up felt great
by middle of shift sat. night fever back up
home in am it was 101.5
called out sick from work
thumbs down for being sick
kids though seem to be over the worst of it

A pretty good weekend for me!
Friday: got some chores done and watched the movie A Walk to Remember.
Saturday: Had a great run, cleaned my car, Cardinals won! Watched movie Resident Evil.
Sunday: Ran. Worked on Nichole's bike riding skills  that was fun. She's just about got it. Had pizza for dinner and Nichole and I made Halloween cupcakes.

Had a nice time at our college's Homecoming. Mikey was a saint the whole weekend, and we swapped off duties all weekend to hang out with friends. Only bad thing was Tracy somehow got pink eye and Mikey woke up with it this morning.

back to the subject at hand...
Didn't do much running/riding/swimming this weekend, just took it easy. I was at home alone on Friday evening and I got my baking on the in kitchen. Spoiled kids! I made two different kinds of muffins, a batch of multi grain rolls, a batch of cornbread (hey, I do live in the South) and some sugar cookies and the only thing that they want to eat is the cookies.
Saturday was pretty low key. Just did stuff around the house.
Sunday AM was church and I talked to a guy there about getting together for a 3 way game of Age of Empires.
