Now we're trying to get money out of them to pay for breaking our lease so we can move back to Ohio. It was going to cost us $4 grand to break it, but my wonderful talk-em-down hubby was able to get some things waived since we lost our jobs and weren't just choosing to go to some other apartment complex or to a house. So now it's to the tune of 1622. Still sucks. I talked to the finance person this morning and she's going to propose it to the president. It looks like it might get ugly.
Must....save.....energy....to fight.....for.....money!!!!

What about your moving expenses for getting back to OH?
Be sure to stop by and say as you pass through GA.

Crap! With all the whirl of everything i didn't even think about the moving expenses to Ohio. We were just so focused on our lease yesterday. We were on the phone/in the office for most of the afternoon.
Yeah, I have no problem getting my dukes up. All I have to do is replay certain parts of the firing scene. I'm not a quick thinker in this situation. I'd do much better to just go into work and hash it all out face to face.
The saga continues...

Best of luck in this situation, Steph. I cannot even imagine what you are going through. Jerks.

You're too young to live in Florida anyway.

Licensed to kill, yes. Licensed to practice, no. If I were, I'd be practicing near a beach somewhere, guaranteed.

a license to kill? How often do you have to renew it?
Steph. I see that the suckyness continues... Good luck. If it were me I would've broken out the wiffle bat on their asses...

Every 4 years. But the good news is that the line is shorter than at the DMV.
