watching my TV on the floor of my half empty apt. I'm sick, I'm tired, I've lifted 50,000 times my body weight today, its rained most of the day, I don't know where any farkin thing is, I traded my my saturn with my mom for a 12 year old mini van and my cats are losing their already very small minds running in circles and shedding in CLUMPS. Oh, and the fun resumes tomorrow. Pass me a beer. Oh wait, I don't know what box its in.
I. love. moving.

I've moved exactly 9 times in my life. Luckily, I've been a person of few possessions, but I've gained a lot in the past 2 years. I can easily forsee moving at least 4 more times before I move to the dirt.

I haven't moved much. College doesn't count as it's its own microcosm of constant movement, and for me it was from furnished place to furnished place, so not too bad. Its amazing how much poo I've acquired since college. This is for the birds. I'm living in this next apt for the rest of my life.

What? Your cats aren't sitting in the corner yowling at the blank walls? That's what our two eldest did both times we moved them.

I feel for you, I really do. Libby and I packed 25 boxes yesterday and I feel like it's only the tip of a very large iceberg. 25 boxes of books, movies, pictures, & nicknacks. We still have dishes, clothes, everything the kids own and whatever I'm forgetting to go.
I hate moving too.
The good news is that you get to get rid of things you don't need. It's like the ultimate spring cleaning.

Are your friends helping? Maybe I shouldn't remind you that I was one who said let them help and forget the movers. Moving sux big time, I hate it. We have been in this house 15 years but prior to that we moved 12 times in less that 10 years! I will never move again, ever! Hope today is better.

Moving stinks, especially because you get to the new place, and you think "This is it - I'll never have to move again." Though deep down, you know better.
