this is the best site for shoes on the web.
they have ALL kinds of stuff. the prices are excellent too. and they always have free shipping that usually gets upgraded to 1 or 2 day service for free. and since the warehouse is in kentucky, i get my stuff the next day. 
anyway they have awesome customer service as well. i ordered some shoes last night and inadvertantly chose 1 day shipping for an extra $25. i emailed them and asked that they credit me the $25 and just give me regular shipping. that was at 11:30. i got an email from them this morning (that was sent at 12:00 last night) that said no problem. 
and thats my plug for the bestest shoe store on the web!

agree with everything you've said...
just ordered from them this past week for the first time...and looks like you can get pretty good deals if you keep your eye open...I just got a nice pair of shoes for work marked down to $50 from $120...i think our family will be ordering from them quite a bit in the future...

Absolutely the best service I've ever received from any online/mail-order merchant. 
Ordered shoes at 3 pm - they were delivered at 10 the next morning.

OMG Spammer.... Zappos is the number one shoe retailor online to date. They recorded 600million in shoe sales from that one site last year, and their growth is quite exciting. We are following their game plan, and are constantly watching every move they make so that we can emulate them.

They might be excellent service and all which don't discredit at all but their prices are not that great. I shop holabirdsports and have better luck with them. For example i'm probably going to be buying a pair of asics nimbus vIII which are $123 at zappos and $95 + 5 ship at holabird. You choose. Its an easy choice for me.

Not going to knock Holabird....
But at Zappos you get free shipping, free return shipping (WHICH IS NEXT DAY AIR!!!), and a 365 day return policy.
So basically its up to you on what you are buying besides the shoes you know?
If you know exactly what you want as far as a replacement pair then holabird all day, but if your trying something new then Zappos all day. Oh and you could allways call me too
