and turkey trots! anyone doing a turkey trot? I know Gretriever is doing the MATC trot. I think I may stay away from that one because it's all trail, and I sure don't need another injury to add to the injury list.

rats!!!!! Audobon sounds like fun....but too early for me to race (hey I'm getting old), plus hubby will be in Shreveport.....so I have to be soccer (actually football) mom that day.
What are our choices for Nov/Dec?????? I think there's something in Fondy (Joel's favorite spot) soon ...............excuse me (getting striders book)
Oshkosh walk on water ....Oct 18----Joel.....didn't you do this one????
Belleville bchip UFO......Oct 25?-------I've done this one the past 2 years...I've got a title to defend. Pretty tough course for a lowlander.
Menasha--St Joe's 5k......cheap entry fee $5
dec 6th---Frostbite in Stevens pt 10 mile, 5 mile at noon. I've done before and really liked it (most likely because I'm an noonish runner)

Ok, So here are some upcoming races! See if they fit in your schedule, mafia members! (* means I'm running in them for sure!)
*This Saturday (4th)...Audobon 5 miler in Mayville...WE'll have Shelee, bad Jenny and Rando there.
*Saturday, October 11th, The Foxtrot Octoberfest 5K in Omro
*Saturday, October 18th, Oshkosh on the Water 5 miler (no, you don't run on the water  )...I do believe Paul came up to this one last year and ran it with me...
Saturday, October 25th Belleville bchip UFO......Oct 25?-------Sue, any more information to share on this one? Where's Bellville?
*Saturday, November 8th St Joe's 5k in menasha......cheap entry fee $5
Saturday, dec 6th---Frostbite in Stevens Point 10 mile, 5 mile at noon. and this one, Sue?

Belleville is a small town about 15 minutes SE of madison...I guess years ago a few people claimed to have seen UFOs and now it's a weekend thing where everyone dresses up as aliens. Start is 10 am. The Oct 25 has a ? by it---so I need to call the RD. I know the UFO days is a go.....but want to make sure there is a race. There is a 5k also.

oh-----one other race up here is the Santa Scamper...of course it's on a Tuesday night. One mile down college ave in Appleton. Nov 25th at 6:03 pm. I've heard it's a blast. Joel??????

October 18th: Continental 5K Horicon Turn Pike 9am Reg/ 10am Race
November 1st: Lakefront Discovery Run 5K & 15K in Milwaukee (This is a fun one, I did it last year and it ends at the Ale House in the 3rd Ward...very fun!)
December 13th: Jingle Bell Run in Madison 5k and 10k?
October 25th Bellville is a possibility for me, anyone else gonna go?

Lakefrot Discovery! Wouldn't that be fun!?!...I'll try to make that one if you'll be there. Also, I'm doing a Jingle Bell, just not sure where. I'll let you know. Are you in for the 5K or 15K for Lakefront? I'd like to do the 15K, but may just end up doing the 5K. Long runs haven't been so long lately.
