i guess this got erased...

i started the self challenge about 4 weeks ago in an effort to get back on the wagon o' weight loss. its a three month lifestyle plan from shape magazine. i promised updates so heres the latest:

so far ive only lost maybe two pounds. im still trying to get my eating habits under control and i sort of scared of becoming obsessed with the scale. but ive been consistantly working out, three 30 min cardio sesions and at two 30 min weight sessions a week. i usually do my cardio on the stationary bike in the gym, i feel like im getting a better workout than running (at the pace i go anyway)... my strength workouts are with free weights and a stability ball in my bedroom.

so far, ive met my goal every week and im starting to exceed the strength training goal by doing two 1 hr sessions a week. eventhough i havent lost much weight, i feel thiner and healthier too and my clothes are starting to loosen up a bit. so things are moving along nicely.

im not sure what month two will have in store, i havent gotten next months issue yet, but i will keep the updates coming.

thanks for listening!

That is great! Just remember that muscle weighs more than fat, so if though you aren't losing weight you could be losing fat and that is the goal!

And remember how good Hyper said you looked when you met up a couple of weekends ago--a completely unprompted outside opinion--so you must be doing something right!!

This is really inspiring, Froggie......keep us posted on how it's going. The program sounds really manageable too, nothing too excessive that couldn't be fit into the normal person's hectic schedule. Hmmm.....you and HH are going to have us all on the bandwagon pretty soon! Smile
