How do you remove a salad dressing stain from a white shirt?

Nah, it's the gf at work. Guess she spilled some dressing and tried to Shout it out. Isn't working as well as she'd like.

Straight from Heloise:

Quote:
Do a spot check right after eating those healthy salads! If you notice any oily drips, sprinkle them ASAP with baby powder, cornstarch, or packets of artificial sweetener to absorb the oil. That should lift most of the stain. Treat any blot that's left with a prewash spray, or rub liquid laundry detergent into the spot. Launder in the hottest water appropriate for the fabric (read the care label). Before you put clothing into the dryer, check to see if the stain has disappeared and retreat if necessary. If you wait to treat oil-based stains, they can be next to impossible to remove later.

Mis zapatos estan llenos de queso.

Nifty cleaning tip -- thanks! I need to pass it along to my mum-in-law. She'll be like, "I was cleaning out the closet and found this shirt for you," and I'll be like, "Sure! Thanks!" and it'll have, like, oil spatters on it that I, like, didn't notice until I wore it out somewhere. Heh.
