wow. today i had my first solid rollerblade workout. instead of just a stroll in the park, or a mad sprint to make it to work on time...

i had a good scenic route with really good sidewalks/paths (well except for the occasional odd spot, or wandering dog -stupid people-). a few decent hills to make you power up a bit right in the middle, and not a whole lotta people... and the speed is a lot of fun! you get a nice breeze going...

it's the first time i've felt like i had a run without actually running! it's a nice low impact thing which is easier on my back...

on another note, some of the friendliest people are up at 6 in the morning to go for walks. sure beats the heat. maybe it's the comraderie in knowing that we're insane enough to get up that early..

i think i'm going to go have an egg mcmuffin now and sleep til 11. check ya'll later.

edit: i wrote "hate" everytime i meant to write "had"... maybe i'm bitter that my friend slept in... hrm

There's a lot of truth in that.
