OK, please don't flame me, but I think Runner's World is a fantastic magazine. No, I don't like the sensational headlines, but they've got to sell the thing to make money, right? But I have found that a good number of the articles are excellent at giving great advice. And those articles are based on empirical as opposed to anectdotal research.

And I only have the August edition. dunno

I get RT, and I pass it on to rtpd when I am done. It put together well, and has good info and race coverage.

rt is more focused I believe. RW does more fluff but is still pretty good.

HA! finally, i don't feel silly admitting i still read Runner's World!!!!

i have bought RT and think it's just too techy for me; too many way too serious runners in there for these bones. plus, i like the fluff if that's what we're calling it. Runner's Fluff works for me. fubby

besides, mindy likes it Razz so there

I'm in both camps. I read 'em all...plus a few others. Anything I can get my grubby mitts on and glean a morsel that might help. I would rank RT above RW, better shoe reviews, more interviews, more race listings & race ads, more results and easier to browse online calendar. RW has it's place though and brings many people into the ranks of running. Personally, I sponsor a subscription of it at the public library. One bene of RT I like too is if you have running buddies or newbies you want to give a nice xmas gift is they offer $10 gift subscriptions around the holidays and that's a nice way to spread the RT word and not break the bank unlike the $24 RW cost.
