I think Oprah could save the country from itself.

Radio host Neal Boortz has gone on record as saying that if Oprah endorses Hillary Clinton that Ms. Clinton will return to the White House as the first female president.

I tend to agree with his analysis.

If Oprah endorsed Benji, Benji would reach the White House as the first Dog President.

I disagree. I think the majority of this country doesn't give a rat's behind what Oprah says.

I wish you were right but I fear you're not. I think she's a strong opinion-maker.

I disagree with your disagreement. Wink

The suburban soccer moms (and Ross Perot) got Bill Clinton into the White House the first time around. Those same soccer moms, influenced greatly by one Oprah Winfrey, will be the swing voters when Hillary finally drops her hat into the ring.

The one thing I've noticed about the <sports event of your choice> moms I've known over the years - few of them can stand Hillary for whatever reason.

I agree.....but you aren't including the Oprah factor. Women are tough on women, but Oprah is different Neutral

Back on point, mostly. If a party was serious about whichever women they nominated, excellent. I hope she is a serious candidate as a veep or even as a presidential candidate. Whether or not it is Hilary or Condi Rice or anyone else...doesn't matter.
