when i was about 6 or 7 my parents took me to a WWF wrestling match that was here in town. classy, i know.

i remember them picking out my clothes. they made me wear this long sleeved peach button down shirt that had little blue and pink hearts on it with heart shapped buttons under a short sleeved black, white, and blue geometric print button down shirt. i also remember thinking i cant go out like this and going anyway.

ok, thats all. Neutral

I have a ton of randome memories

here's one:

My fifth grade teacher loved to drink coffee and when ever she was out sick I'd sit in school and imagine that she was home with her husband having $ex and that two or three times during the day she'd go downstairs into the kitchen totally naked to pour herself some more coffee.

When I was in 3rd grade my mom made an outfit for me. She wasn't a good seamstress...I had to wear the outfit anyway. Sad

When I was in 5th grade I ganged up on this girl with some other friends and started calling her names. We all got in trouble and had to stay inside at recess time. Well, this kid named John Ramsey was in trouble for something that day too and I remember him beating his head against the concrete wall that day.

When I was in 7th grade I had a pair of overalls that I loved to wear but they were green. Green & white were our school colors so I didn't really think much about it. When I got to school this group of mean kids started calling me "Mrs. Green Jeans." Embarassed

I have a lot of random memories....

I remember when cell phones were just for "rich people".

I also remember a few years after that when my dad thought if you had a cell phone or beeper you were "selling women." Guess who's walking around with both? teehee

well someone brought up 5th grade:

we were going over a section on words with more than one meaning. The word "newt" came up and the teacher asked if anyone knew of a meaning besides the lizard/salamander thing. Everyone looks at each other like "huh". I raise my hand, much to my teacher's surprise.

My answer was "I'm not sure of the meaning but on 'name that tune' they say that they can identify a song in a newt".

"Susan, I think they mean 'note'"

"no, they actually say newt"

Teacher goes on to say "I can name that tune in one note" with an English accent.

"yep. that's how they say it"

The look on my teacher's face was priceless. I didn't understand it at the time, but now that I'm older how tough it was for that teacher not to burst out laughing.

we were vacationing at the beach just after my son was potty trained. we're a long walk from any sort of restroom and he comes to me and tells me he has to pee....all i said was, well, some people just go in the ocean but we'll walk back to the house....

next thing i know, he's facing the horizon, standing in 2 inches of water, trunks down to his ankles and he's firing an arc'd stream out into the "ocean" Embarassed
