I heard about that.

What gets me is that i've been on that road. Not in that area, but farther north. I don't know about the road condition where the driver was speeding, but i would NOT want to go above 65-70 on highway 61. It passes through rural towns with stop signs (and an occasional stop light), it has many roads turning onto it, and it is mostly two lane and up where i grew up it wasn't in the best condition.

geeze, i'm not so sure even the best helmet would protect your head if you dropped it going 205 MPH, not to mention the road rash and stuff--just think how far you'd slide on the asphalt before stopping. i bet you'd be forever picking the gravel out of those cuts. silly rabbits.

One word. IDIOT!

I believe that Kathy's comment about 200MPH courting death was questionable. Your courting death at much lower speeds, even if you have the full protective gear. Since she said 200 was courting death, somebody may think that if they go 150, they will be alright.

As usual, I think the press is also being idiots. What is the next 18yo with a sport bike going to think?

in PA it would be about a 600.00 ticket plus a 1 year suspension.
Not only was he speeding, but reckless and careless driving tickets could have been given to

I'm waiting to see what the fine/penalty will be. It's gonna set precedent because there has never been speeding violation that bad before and the law on the books doesn't cover it.
