What do you think, is it better when a runner has longer legs or not? I’m asking this because my legs are a bit shorter than I’d like them to be, so I’m wondering am I supposed to take up running or maybe choose some other activity. What do you think about that? I know that certain build is not considered suitable for particular sports.

Oh, I don’t think that the length of your legs has anything to do with running performance. Ok, maybe it does, but that’s not the most important factor. I don’t think that there are special characteristics that a person who wants to start running must have. As we all know, the most important is motivation and persistence. If you lack those two aspects, you can have a perfect body type and you won’t do anything. So, don’t even think about that. You just start running and do it properly and everything is going to be alright. I know, for example, certain basketball players which have an average height and still they’re among the best in the world. Just believe in yourself.
