It's a disaster situation in this joint if the coffee maker goes on the fritz.

I make about 8 cups here for my work day. Lately this coffeemaker has been brewing about 2 cups, stopping, then starting again 15 minutes later. Today it took it about an hour to brew the whole pot. 4 more days.....that's all I'm asking.
I'll replace it in the fall.

Before you do that - has anyone ever cleaned it out using vinegar ? You run vinegar through the system instead of water. (No you don't add coffee)
