I'll cut to the quick...mileage. That's all you need. Mileage. Six months; 1000 miles. That'll get you in the dress, I guarantee. If you can't run 40-mi/wk, then start 3-mi walks every evening to supplement your running. Crank up the time on the road and not holed up in the gym. There's one thing runners should know like the back of their hand is the scale cooperates when you get the mileage up.

Or she could just walk 20 miles a day carrying a 40 lb pack. Razz

A trip to Iraq will work wonders... Mr. Green

120 degree heat, body armor, lots of water to drink, long sleeved uniforms and helmets....

how 'bout i just sit in the sauna for the next 6 months instead

FROG GIRL!!!!!! Mad

I say get out and run...move...something!

The personal training sounds like it is way too expensive. Do you think a trainer is going to get you motivated enough to go in? Motivation has to come from within. Once you get going...you'll keep going.

WOW that is expensive!
I used to pay about 850$/month for a trainer and recently switched to a virtual trainer!
A fraction of the price and way more attention to detail!
Instead of standing over me and simply counting for an hour, a virtual trainer will count all of my calories and supply me with a new meal plan each week along with a goal-oriented training program that is relevant to my training conditions.
More bang for my buck and very motivating!

There are a lot of these virtual trainers out there now but the one I use is www.doctorworkout.com:very professional yet personnable at the same time!
