Tried all weekend to set up a computer for the new guy at work and I finally figured out the problem today! Dancing Banana

Solution :: A setting in the BIOS for APCI had to be turned off so installation wouldn't hang.

Oh, I so wanted to share this today but didn't know how I was going to do it. This is a perfect thread for me to brag! Very Happy

Since I started this Body for Life thingy I am basically doing three 20 minute runs a week. Sounds horrible coming from someone who just ran a marathon, right? Well, basically the 20 minutes are all intervals. You start at an intensity level of "5" (on a scale of 10) and for a minute you continue to increase your intensity up to a "9." Right at the end you try to push to a "10" and then back off for a minute and you're done. Well, last week my "10" was running at a pace of 9 minutes and some change. Today my "10" was running a minute at a pace of 7:41! SEVEN, people!!! SEV-EN!!!!

Note: my fastest 5k time is around 29 minutes. SEVEN!!!! 41. Okay, so it was just for a minute but, hey, I never thought I could run ANY minutes for SEVEN something. This really gives me hope of increasing my speed. Not that I could ever finish a 5k in 21 minutes but, hey, I am increasing my speed and it feels GREAT! Very Happy Cool

Hmm. That's funky. I've seen that with the BIOS virus protection, never with APCI.
