I just found out I've been nominated to be student body president. I'm trying to decide if I have the time. It would look hella good on the resume and I think I could handle it if I had the time...do I have the time? hmmm...

Shockingly well, but...what if I don't want her to be student body (or any other) president?

do you want me as campaign manager?
I propelled Pug to an almost existence on the last presidential ballot.
We had a groundswell of nearly half a dozen people!

The other girl nominated (self-nominated) has 2 very small children and lives far from campus. I know her and like her a lot, she could do the job well but I don't think she understands the time commitment. I've already been talking to the current prez...its kind of a lot. Lots of university committees you are automatically on by being prez, which means lots of meetings.
I was VP of my sorority and as weird as this sounds, our government meetings aren't very different. I think I could do this.

The important question to ask yourself here, is simple:
Will this affect my ability to watch The OC?
and,
Can I dish with coach about The OC?
if you can still pursue this position and stay on top of those wacky kids in Southern Cal....you hafta go for it.

That student body would never be the same.
