40 weeks along and they discover the baby is breech. Her doctor sucks rocks!!!! Now they are going to try inversion....I told her to get her a$$ to a real doctor as in OB. She said she has an appt with OB tomorrow. I told her to pack her bags. 40+ woman at 40 weeks with breech baby and low plancenta. I say the OB sees her charts and tells the OR to prep for a c-section. Her family practice doctor should be shot for not turning her to an OB doctor months ago.
Here, I've been worried about my sister being able to indure the pain of c-section at her age, but I'm worried about that baby's life. This is no doubt her only chance of having a baby.
She's so passive. I'd be in the office "I want my c-section and I want it now" (not that I haven't done that )

wow. Thats a lot for that PCP to be taking on....and I'm sure you're right, one minute she'll hand the OB the chart, the next she'll be prepping for OR. Good luck to her. And keep us posted.

I'd say Mississippi or Arkansas. Most things, they usually rate in the low placentas.

I deleted it. Google answered by question first.

But wow, good luck to her. My last one was breech the day I went in not feeling well and they gave me the option of letting the Dr. try to turn the baby like manually. I don't even know for sure what that means but I seen his hands that were like the size of over sized dinner plates and I imagined his hands goin' up in there to try to turn the baby! I said oh hell no, we ain't even tryin' that, cut me open n git this baby out!
Keep us posted.
