8-9 turkey legs here. The day started with a turkey trot (hear that? thats our points rackin' up!) where my friend I went with won 2nd in our age group! (of course I wasn't exactly pacing her so I didn't win anything...) then quiet day with family (and just 7 of us at that). It was good, it was really good to spend more personal time with several in my family, 3 of which yesterday have chronic and/or terminal diseases and I don't spend as much time as I would like on a regular basis.
Then off to bed so I could come into work today.
when everyone reads these at their leisure after waking up at noon? you might notice a theme in my posts today....
me? bitter?? nah!

I'd say 8-9 since I had to do all the cooking.......which I love but I always forget HOW much darn work it is!!! Yeesh....
Tried a fresh turkey this year for the first time, what a difference in juicy and flavor--I think Kristin has a point with that free-range business. I'm never going back! Tried a couple new items on the fam that were very well received--my famous roasted cauliflower--YUM! (the only way I can eat it) and a twist on the usual candied sweet potatoes that I got from Cooking Light: it's a mashed sweet potato casserole with a streusel topping. MAJOR YUM FACTOR! The streusel candies and gets a little sugary crust on it so it keeps the potatoes nice and moist.......a new winner!!!
The pumpkin cheesecake was really good too! But I'm whooped and laying low today to recuperate.

the COOKING LIGHT SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE was prepared by me too!!! (last two years -- crushed pecans??) very YUM.
tons of work done after my 5K - i'd give it an 8 due to the labor intensity of it.

I will have you know I went almost a month without a single jalepeno potato chip...until today. Wife picked up a big bag while T day shopping and I saved them until lunch today. There are still some left...well, not many but some.

I'm not even gonna rate mine! Had an upset tummy all day. Couldn't eat to full capacity all day. Missed out on a lot of yum-yums. Everything else went well tho. MIL is now on Prozac. She wasn't her usual mean self.

I guess 7 for me. I found my Turkey Trot race so now I have a shirt that none of my friends have and then it was time to eat like a pig for the rest of the day. Hit the rack kind of early and then played golf today (Friday)

Yes, that's the one....but neither my roomie nor my dad like nuts so I left the pecans out. I think next year I'd like to try a little cinnamon in it.
Went to my roomie's mom's for lunch and to help with her decorations today--just got home and cracked a coldie!
