a few of you might remember me gri[ping about the Mcmansion being built next door to me. well during the construction they altered the run-off and now our lawn floods, majorly. it's been hard to prove that it's coming from the Mcmansion due to the fact that well in bad weather the you don't take the camera out into the rain and then afterwards it's hard to show the flow of the water.

well they put a huge pile of sand on the top of the yard last week. and now there is a full trail of sand from the hill, down their lawn, a full sand par on our parking deck and a trail of sand 30 feet out into the yard. so at least now Dan has some good proof if he decides to follow it up.

the whole construction of this place has been one irratation after another. Mad

yeah the McMansion is on the left. ours on the right is a brick bungalow with one story, attic and basement

Hyper! I can totally relate...they're doing the same thing next to our house...Now don't get me wrong...I enjoy a house that resembles an oversized refridgerator box, numerous nails in my driveway (resulting in 3 flat tires), and crazy loud Mexican music at 7am....

I'll go find the link...

arriba!!!

Cripers, Shelf, that's even butt-ugly for Chicago.

Looks like they do have the ready-to-collapse back/side porch, though.

if you saw our neighborhood you'd be even more hella-shocked...It's a 1940s, eclectic area with cool bungalows and the such. This house sticks out like Jacko on a playground!

I guess the neighborhood fought the building of the house, but the contractor won.

The sad/funny thing is the inside is SOOOOO 'home depoed'! (nothing unique, blah everything) They're asking $850,000! It's going to stay on the market for years!

i was gonna say the only redeeming quality is the stone pillars but they are most likely those plastic home depot things now that i look closely.

that house sucks~

we are all at the mercy of our tacky neighbors.

These are the only redeeming qualities (yet it makes the house that much more unsellable at the same time).

the second floor and the third floor are completely gutted out and have these huge patios!
