are my favorite!!! I love this time of year.
Has anyone tried the eggnog latte? I'm trying to decide if I should give it a try. I love the 'nog. I tried the pumpkin spice one a couple weeks ago, a freebie because they didn't need it after all, and it wasn't good. Wasn't awful, just wasn't good.
Oh, and my CCG (cute coffee guy) so treats me right. LOTS of sprinkles, plus he makes this star on the whipped cream in chocolate syrup. A big, thick chocolate star. The girls don't do this for me. Just Joe.
I love my new coffee spot!!

I didn't especially care for the egg nog latte, but I love eggnog.
I thought you said you didn't think there was a Starbucks in Terre Haute?

i've had the eggnog latte - it was very good. for some reason, i can't imagine the peppermint with coffee, it's bleh to me.
so, we know where you'll be spending lots of your time (and cash)!
there are no CCGs up here. if he's giving you lots of sprinkles, that's a good sign, but dang-- that big thick chocolate star in the whipped cream -- he's waitin' for you every morning
editing to ask What is a mocha anyway?

I may have said that, I don't remember. But there is one. It's on the way to school. It's a PITA getting in and out because of where it is, but oh so worth it. I've been going there pretty regularly since Jacob started preschool at the Woods. So since we moved here.
What we don't have is Target, Best Buy, or Eddie Bauer.

I'll pass on all that flavored stuff, thanks. I just likes my coffee strong. Like my wimmen.

I had a peppermint mocha yesterday. Was in the mood for hot chocolate with a kick and that did the trick. Otherwise too chocolatey for me. I do like a peppermint latte. mmmmmmmmm Haven't tried the eggnog latte. Don't think I'd enjoy it.

Nyet. It's either a straight up coffee or a nonfat latte. None of the flavored stuff works for me. I think it's my natural aversion to drinking calories unless it's alcohol-related. That overrides my reluctance.

Well I don't know if he's waiting for me, but he sure does have my numbah! The sprinkles too, very fub. He just shook them wantonly. There were red sprinkles everywhere.
He brings a whole new meaning to wanting a cup o' joe.

A mocha is a coffee with steamed milk and Hershey's chocolate syrup. Basically a coffee with chocolate milk. Very good.

yeah, I know. But I don't have time to make that trip. I haven't been up there in ages.
I'm seriously thinking about making a trip to the outlets in Edinburgh though, 2 hours away. I'd need to dump the kids somewhere, but I have GOT to check out the Coach outlet. And I need sweaters. I scarcely have anything to wear for cold weather, and I love EB. I could catalog shop, but I really need to try things on.
Honestly though, I cannot afford to go shopping.

I know I probably spend too much money on protein bars/shakes and I don't drink coffee, but I couldn't imagine spending $3 - 4 - $5 each day at Starbucks.

I've had the egg nog latte and the gingerbread version. Very nice. Not something I get all the time ( I think it's like $3/cup) but a nice treat for a special time of year.
Peppermint Mocha sounds sweet.
