(Molly, if you want to borrow her for a while to see what it's like, just let me know.)

hmmmm...I would love to! I was out exchanging some clothes for Hayden today and it was hard to find cute outfits. I kept wandering over to all the adorable little spring girl baby clothes which are soooo cute!!!! There will definitely be trouble if the next one if a girl, the shopping may be insane!!

We are thinking (well, hubby is set to do it, I am still waffling) about trying when Hayden is a year old. I think it is a little scary, but figure it will probably be ok......we'll just have to see.

We only had one. He's twelve now, so I'm positive that's all I want.

My sister and I are seven years apart--and we get along, but we're not friends. My brother and I are five years apart, and were closer until he got all weird.

Seven years, imho, is too much. I did enjoy being an only child all through high school, though. I got to do a lot of cool things with just my parents--like trips to Canada and Puerto Rico.

I'll post a picture of her, and you'll really want to borrow her. She's perfect, but hey, I'm biased.

We have more outfits than she can possibly wear, and my wife is upset becasue she hasn't bought any of it herself - every female friend, relative or person we've ever come in contact with over the last 10 years bought her something cute to wear.... Her closet looks like an industrial accident at the Pepto Bismol plant. Shocked

It's not that bad, really, except when you first get the second one home, and your "sleep deprivation fiesta" starts all over again. I logged only 115 hours of sleep during calendar year 1998.

IMO, the benefits of having them close together outweighs any negatives. My wife and her brother are 18 mos. apart and get along very well, and always have. I hope my boys do the same.

Mine are 2 1/2 years apart.....exactly as planned (fertility not a problem in my family).....however that's because I wanted to fit in another....if I knew I was only having two I would have put them 3- 3 1/2 years apart.

I grew up with a sister 54 weeks younger than me. It was horrible!!!! We were dressed like we were twins and we were treated as one entity. If she did something wrong we were BOTH punished. And tricycle--only one, bicycle only one!!! My mother tried to get her off to school the same year as me too!
