no school to teach for me today
most schools are closed in the area
abbys nurse left early so it is me and all the kids for a little while
at least hannah is feeling better
robin though has to travel 1.5 hours from here (north) for a review
and the roads are crappy and the snow is coming down pretty hard

I'm off today, school is cancelled. My kids started with a 2 hour delay, then cancelled a few minutes ago.

No school for K&M. Just got in the office myself. I had a late EMS call that set me back an hour and combined with slow traffic. I am here though and all is intact.

thinking about a fire a little later on - then some eggnog - a nice pork roast to add to the mix and the house is all decorated for Christmas - does it get any better than this????

We were expecting the schools to be closed due to freezing rain, but it missed us and went farther north. Mom and Dad and happy, but the kids are disappointed.

No school here for the 2nd day. We were supposed to get "a light dusting". That ended up being about 4" in my backyard.

Nothing but cold here in WI today. Same as yesterday. My post yesterday about being home with Mikey was meant to mean that I would love it if Mikey's day care were cancelled because I'd be the one to stay home with him. Anyway, be safe, everyone!

WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!! It's snowing, it's snowing......la la la la la la laaaaaaaaa!!!!
I am staying HOME today! I don't think there's school here either, since my neighbor across the street is still home and she's a teacher. I called my boss and told him I'd either be in late or not at all...I'm 40 mins from work and the roads suck. Plus, last year we went in and ended up leaving early and it took me FOUR HOURS to get home!!! No thank you.
I'm with pro on the fire, maybe some baking, and final touches on the Xmas decorations today. And a run in the snow, of course! YEAH BABY!!! Winter ROCKS!!!!!

Just think how much you're going to miss this nice weather when it's 102 with 700% humidity in August!!! I HATE summer with a passion and I live for this stuff, as long as I don't have to drive in it.
This festive occasion calls for the resurrection of our old favorite. Anyone got the Gonads and Strife link? OMG WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Had the chains and the opticon* on the whole time I was driving the ambulance, this morning. What is normally a 10 minute trip took me 30. I was in no rush and the patient was stable
