You know when you get a new mail message it shows you the little envelope in the lower right corner of your screen? Well there are too many icons on mine I guess and now it gets hidden unless you hit the little blue arrow to open all of them, but it won't stay that way. So I can't see the envelope.
Any way to change this? It used to be there but now maybe I have too many little icons down there, can I get rid of some I don't care about?
Thanks,
Your computer incompetant friend

Thanks. I don't know what I would have done If I had missed the two e mails about sexual activity or the other two for pills.

Okay, try this..
Right click on the bottom right task bar there
select 'customize notifications'
a dialog box pops up called customize notifications
scroll down to "you have new unopened items"
change the "behavior" column to read "always show"
Click 'ok'
then click 'apply'
Click 'ok' again
I'm thinking that'll do it.

And.. you probably want to also, on that last dialog box
turn off the last selection that sez "hide inactive icons"
that's why it's shrinking and you have to click the blue arrow
