i have a list of things to do today... all of them can wait.

we got about 15 cm of snow yesterday - it is IDEAL conditions for snowman building.

i can either:
a) be productive

b) build a massive snowman and report back with pictures.

...let the masses decide...

(i may also try to finish my igloo now that i can cheat with the snow a bit...)

Being productive is over-rated. Especially if ya ain't gettin' paid for it.

ok here he is... not as great as i wanted it to be but i promised pics.

in retrospect - i didn't build a good enough foundation. he got too tall and i had trouble filling him out and then the snow started getting cold and non-sticky (it wouldn't roll together for some reason). i might carve the bottom into something later so that it looks like some dude (kinda like the guy from nightmare before christmas) but standing on something. if it's as warm as it's supposed to be this week i'll patch him up as the week goes on... Wink

for reference sake - at 6 ft tall i could not reach to the top of his head. i had to climb up his back side to get the toque on.
