in retrospect - i didn't build a good enough foundation. he got too tall and i had trouble filling him out and then the snow started getting cold and non-sticky (it wouldn't roll together for some reason). i might carve the bottom into something later so that it looks like some dude (kinda like the guy from nightmare before christmas) but standing on something. if it's as warm as it's supposed to be this week i'll patch him up as the week goes on...
for reference sake - at 6 ft tall i could not reach to the top of his head. i had to climb up his back side to get the toque on. |
I wonder if God felt the same way about Shaq?

shaq is not unlike a create-a-player in a video game... where you stock up all of his size and dunk attributes and leave nothing for free throws or passing....
next year i'm making a transformer.

Dude--he's a better snowman than I can put together--even WITH snow.
I admire the fact that you stop and take time to smell the roses and enjoy the snow. One day your kids will love you for that. Don't ever lose it.

Snow is an easy medium to work with and a very forgiving construction material
Yesterday, I pulled probably around 500-sq.ft of snow off the roof and then piled it in one heap in the middle of the yard. This week, me and the boys will commence carving out the inside for a snow fort to top all snow forts
