Cool beans, elkid. My husband needs to have LASIK, too. Everyone I've known that's done it is very pleased.
As someone who scraped off a chunk of her cornea last year (and still has issues with it), for the love of Juju -- don't go to bed without putting in drops or gel. The painful sensation of eyelid sticking to eyeball when you awaken is not fun.
