MAybe they are going to dress him up and take pictures of him travelling all over the country, like those garden gnomes.

For many years my College had a Christmas tradition:

The annual "Torching of the Manger Scene".

Goes to show you the value of a solid Catholic Education.

One of my co-workers was busying putting some of his kids to bed and when he got done, he found all of his christmas lights pulled down and the nativity scene he had set up in his front yard out in the street. Needless to say he was very po'ed

Well, now THAT'S a bit much, and very rude. But stealing one piece and then doing the gnome thing is funny. It's the old deadhead in me coming out, I suppose.

No no no, bad Karma is related to stealing someone's cow and leads to you coming back as a lesser caste in the next life. Stealing baby Jesus fortunately is still a forgivable offense. Wink

Jesus + Karma = does not compute

Stealing (anything) contributes to negative/bad karma. It can be a baby Jesus or a cow. Doesn't matter. It's bad. On the other side, giving/donating something contributes to good/positive karma.

Back to the thefts...

In one Cincinnati neighborhood (Cheviot), an infant Jesus was stolen from the manger scene but was replaced when a twelve-year old girl donated her own infant Jesus. Ahem. That Jesus was stolen, too. However, it was returned. Here in town, there was a similar theft.

After all, 'tis the Season...
