...we just found out today that two weeks ago our marketing dept head lost his dad (step dad?). he didn't tell us, but we found out from someone else - but at least explains why he's been so weird and hard to get ahold of.
our admin head had his uncle pass away just this past week
our accountant's dad had a stroke...
all within the last month.
and our group leader (on a good note) was on a national team that went to russia for two weeks.
this group is so messed up. i can't believe all the crazy things that have happened.
i keep thinking that maybe at the end of all of this we'll be surprised and our project will actually turn out well... but damned if this isn't a harsh process to go through.

everyone in my group had a hard time focusing before the bad things happened...
now it's just untimely and unfortunate when it looked like we finally started getting things together..
but our marketing head is definately having the worst time with it. and he's got a big job to handle... so it would've been nice if he could have let us known..
it's almost done now. just going through some big revisions... but otherwise we're getting along.
at least our group hasnt been fighting with other members... but i suppose that'd be a better trade.
