He's afraid of the new dog door on the porch and won't use it unless you force him or give him cheese. He's such a wuss.

We're going to have a long training session this weekend and get him to get over it. The whole point of putting it in was so I didn't have to let him in and out 2 times each way, now I'm still doing that.

It's a new thing for him, Molly. He'll get used to it.

You need to climb through it.

Oh wait, is this a small dog? Our dog door is big enough for a human to crawl through.

Uh, are you saying this from having tried it out yourself? And if you have, are there pictures of this? Mr. Green

It was only a matter of time before someone else said it...

Oh no, not a small dog. But I still can't fit through it.

Hopefully he'll get it......he knows what to do. He just doesn't want to.

My dog is afraid to get his feet wet. His three point stance peeing off the sidewalk every morning is a riot.

He'll adjust in time when he is ready. My dog took a day to learn about the french doors out to the upstairs porch, one in our bedroom and one in the main space, and that she could run loops through them to get from one room to the next. Now it's like a racetrack for her.

Dogs are marter than you might think. They take their time adjusting to things. When they want to do something, they will. Be careful what you wish for, however. (At least in our case with the doors).
