Use shortening instead of margarine. Margarine has water. Water = flat cookies.

Are they supposed to be unflat? I'm sure they're fine the way they are.
The only thing wrong with slice and bake is that they often become slice and eat, screw the bake.
Mmm, Christmas worms.

I hate it when they get all domey. So when they're about 3/4 baked, I take them out, smack the pan on the counter, then put them back in.
I love flat cookies w/ little mountains of chocolate. I'll bet yours are PERFECT!
