well, i tried a no-bake cookie recipe with my daughter. you know -- NO BAKE might be easier...but it took a candy thermometer and all that soft ball stage crap...well, they went down the drain, literally. my daughter was like, better luck next time losah.
i'm with you akern. slice and bake or bag it.
did you notice slice and bakes are hard to find anymore. now, it's just buy them, break them apart and bake. you don't even slice anymore. where's the baking challenge in that i ask?
