Sandy and I went bowling last night with some of her work friends as sort of a pre-birthday party (Sandy's). Three games of bowling.

My previous high was a 115, though i averaged in the 80-90 range.

First game: 144 (second place)
Second game: 125 (first place)

Awesome! Two games with high scores.

The third game i struggled and had to get a couple of strikes in the last three frames to get 100.
Third game: 100.

Sandy beat her high score of 70 three times with a high of 105.

It was a fun evening.

And then we got to see one of her friends (male) ride the mechanical bull. LOL

Congrats on the high game.

I bowled in a league for several years and it was fun for a while.

It is more than a bowling alley. Gameworks (you can find it on the net). There are many arcade games downstairs, and some bowling upstairs (with a couple more games). It's part of this Block E entertainment district, which is right by the theatre district downtown....which is four blocks away from a bar advertising "topless girls".

Cut off at the waist, of course. Decapitated would be "headless girls", and those are down on Lake Street, not Hennepin Avenue.

We didn't have great players there. The high game was a 158, and we had one girl who had great form walking to the lane, but then she just stops and pretty much drops the ball with a loud bang.

Funny stuff.

I worked in a bowling alley back in High School and did some leagues for awhile. My average was in the 160's. High game was 230-ish.

I went bowling a couple of weeks ago. I bowled 136, 124, 171, and 150-something. It was the first time I had bowled in YEARS!!! I was on a bowling league when I was in 3rd grade and my average was 120. I guess I should have stuck with it! My husband has like a 215 average (I think that is right...he'd kill me if I got that wrong!). He should totally go pro (we need the money! Wink )!!
