Sooo.... I have this little crush on this guy who works here. We work in completely different areas on completely different things, so we don't have normal contact. But today we happen to get here at the same time (after the usual chatty elevator crowd  ) and we share an elevator. He holds the door for me then sees who I am and is like "Hey Cheryl, how are you?" me:  "Fine, how are you?" "Oh, hanging in there (laugh)" (silence for at least 25 flights) Me, exiting on my floor (which is different from his): "well, have a good day!" "hey you too!"  Why didn't I come up with anything better to say? 'how are you'????  (sigh) another missed opportunity.

Because you are in that wonderful stage where the sky looks bluer and the air smells fresher, the sun seems brighter and everything is good in the world. Just the sight of him ties up your tongue, you get butterflies in your tummy and your heart beats just a little bit faster. It's all good, and everything in its own time. There isn't much that feels better, so enjoy it and savor it. Next time you see him it will be the same, but perhaps a little chat about the weather will help break the ice. Good luck!

fortunately for our ears and the musical integrity of the immortal hits of air supply, we don't have muzak piped into our elevators. But good thought though.
how's about interofficing a note 'check yes no or maybe'....
