Kasia made pierogies last night with the help of some nieces and nephews, Robin's sister and our kids.

They made over 300 pierogies

they are delicious

I never had perogies until I was about 26 or so. How does she cook them, with butter & onions?

There's a church near where Bam is from that makes perogies on Fridays and sells them. They are superdeeduper popular, usually have to wait an hour or so to be served.

Are they anything like Bippy Bobkas?

nothing compares

made two different types...potato and cheese
and potato and kraut

I do not know what the dough was made of but I think it was a special polish secret.

I hate pierogies, but I've never had genuine ones. Save me some real ones so you can change my mind.

Mmm, pierogies rock. Helps if you're married into a Czech family. I love them in butter and onions, with some sour cream, and/or some hot sauce. No such thing as a bad one.

Yeah Sahara is right, the town I grew up near has several churches that make pierogies. But as I am 1/4 Polish and 1/4 Croatian, we always had Eastern European foods being made in the house
