The hail on Tuesday night was crazy. It was a pure down pour for about 2 hours straight. Tons of thunder and lightning. We haven't had a good storm like that in a while. The weather yesterday was very strange. Lots of tornado warnings, a little hail at the office and not much rain. I didn't think I was going to be able to get any sort of workout in last night, but the skies cleared and I had a great run. Too wet to skate. The humidity here has been gross for 2 days now.

There was a mudslide on highway 169 the other day that closed the highway (while not the largest highway in the state, it is a fairly important one), otherwise my area has been fine. The mudslide was probably an hour south of where i live.

Colorado considers itself the West.

Rains are back in the Chicago area for a spell. At least it cooled off - by some 20-25 degrees - too early for air conditioning!
